POLICE are searching for the owners of two bicycles recovered by the force in York - which are believed to be stolen
The cycles were recovered during an incident which occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning (September 29) in York city centre, when North Yorkshire Police officers arrested a man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, a drug offence and theft.
Officers believe that the cycles have been stolen in the York area.
The bikes officers recovered are an orange Apollo Radar full suspension mountain bike and a blue Richmond CBR ladies style cycle, which has a distinctive pink bell.
Officers are urging anyone who believes that either of these bicycles belongs to them to contact or PC 1761 Skeoch by email steve.skeoch@northyorkshire.police.uk or 101 quoting incident number: 12210211222.
