Halloween is fast approaching and with it comes a myriad of events and shows to entertain yourself with.
Whether you’re looking for a family friendly event or something a bit spookier, you’ll not be short of Halloween events in Yorkshire this year.
Halloween Creepy Carnival, Yorkshire Wildlife Park
A creepy carnival is the best way to spend Halloween, and Yorkshire Wildlife Park have us sorted. Describing themselves as “the most magical, and spookiest show on earth”, a day here will involve live performances, games, crafts and face painting.
The Halloween Creepy Carnival will be on October 23-25.
Halloween Adventure, Stockeld Park
There is lots of family-friendly spooky fun to be had at Stockeld Park. Activities include witches in the forest, pumpkin picking and a skeleton trail!
The Halloween Adventures will run between October 23-31 10am to 5:30pm.
Hallowscream, York Maze
Hallowscream at York Maze is the winner of the Best UK Scream Park, so prepared to be scared!
Be wowed at the 5 separate live-action haunted house attractions and over 100 actors roaming around trying to bring spooky season to life.
Hallowscream is pretty scary, so it is only suitable for children aged 14 and over.
It will run from October 8-31, between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:30pm.
Haunted Halloween Trail, Holmfirth
The Haunted Halloween Trail in Holmfirth is great fun for all the family. Head to the Holmfirth centre to hunt down the businesses with spooky windows to find the clue to spell the word.
It costs £1 per sheet, and money raised goes towards the 2 local Holmfirth Foodbanks.
You can pick up your sheets at: Imagine Toys, Andrews Greengrocers, The Chocolate Box and Holmfirth Library.
The event is running from October 22 to October 31.
