FIREFIGHTERS helped a toddler and his parents out of a sticky predicament.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say that shortly after 7pm on Monday night (October 18) a crew from Harrogate assisted a two-year-old boy who had been brought to the station by his parents having got a toilet seat stuck on his head.

A spokesman for the service said that crews disassembled the seat so that it could be removed from the child’s head, much to the relief of his parents.
