Accident on major road
UPDATED 10.15AM: Traffic has now returned to normal, the earlier accident on the A64 both ways between St Hilda's Street Crossroads and East Heslerton has been cleared.
REPORTS are coming in of an accident on a major road.
Drivers are being asked to try and avoid the A64 in Ryedale after an accident on the A64 near Sherburn.
There are reports of slow traffic due to an accident on A64 between St Hilda's Street Crossroads and East Heslerton.
The road has now been closed.
It's not known if anyone has been injured at this time.
