A BONSAI tree specialist has teamed up with another York business in a bid to attract more enthusiasts.

York-based Way of Life Bonsai has now got a presence at plant nursery, Vertigrow, on the A64, next to the Highwayman Café in York.

Way of Life Bonsai supplies customers across the UK but will now showcase more than 50 of the trees in York. The company was formed last year and has built up an impressive following from both bonsai collectors and new people who want to start a collection.

The trees available are both for indoor and outdoor environments and are from one to 80 years old.

A spokesman for Way of Life Bonsai said: “Having our trees showcased at Vertigrow is fantastic news will enable us to reach a much bigger audience. Vertigrow is a tremendous longstanding champion of the plant nursery business and so we are very proud to have a presence at its nursery.”

A Vertigrow spokesman said the collaboration with Way of Life Bonsai was a great addition.

Vertigrow was founded in 1998 and stocks more than 1,000 varieties of plants.
