The final confirmation that St Nicholas Fair will go ahead this year is here.
Wooden chalets are starting to line Parliament Street, ready to greet visitors from across England, Wales and Scotland.
Last year's Fair had to be an entirely virtual event with England under complete lockdown on the date it should have opened.
But this year, it will be the traditional physical one as well as online.
Hundreds of thousands of fairgoers are expected to attend the event which, pre-Covid, was so busy organisers had to take measures to prevent overcrowding at peak times.
Residents complained that visitor numbers were so great movement in the city centre were almost impossible.
The 68 alpine chalets will open for customers on Thursday November 18 and remain open until Thursday December 23.
They will offer a range of unique gifts, seasonal food and drinks and local produce in Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square.
Opening hours will be 10am to 6pm, Sunday to Thursday and 10am to 8pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Thor's tipi will be back in Parliament Street from November 17 until January 2.
A virtual Christmas market will run alongside the physical Fair following the success of last year's virtual event.
