EMERGENCY services were called in after reports of a man on a rooftop.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue say they were called out to Low Ousegate in York city centre at 1am today (November 15).
A spokesman for the service said: "A crew from York assisted in rescuing an intoxicated man from the roof of a convenience store.
"A triple extension ladder and lighting was used.
"The crews gave advice to the male."
