TEENAGE snow princess Violet Miller, a pupil at Queen Margaret's School, in Escrick, near York, has gained a place in the Great Britain Children's Ski team.
Trials and selection for the British team took place at the British Championships, which were held in Meribel, France, and the 13-year-old swished in.
Violet next skis for Great Britain in Formigal, Spain between February 4 and 6.
She started skiing when she was 18 months old and has been racing since she was seven.
Her favourite type of skiing is Super G', which includes downhill and Giant Slalom.
