A NEW single dedicated to our Guardian Angels Appeal has been released with every penny going straight to the charity.
Months of hard work have paid off for members of the York band Comfort Zone, who will hear their song on the radio waves for the first time today.
'Guardian Angel' was written by the band's vocalist, Richard Hardcastle, to support the fundraising campaign of his sister-in-law Karen Hardcastle, who is running the London Marathon in aid of The Press Guardian Angels Appeal.
Karen, 46, of Osbaldwick, in York, is hoping to raise £9,000 enough money to buy a Cpap ventilator machine for children in high dependency at York Hospital.
She said: "I absolutely love the song and I hope that everybody will buy a copy, because every penny from every sale is going to a really good cause."
