RECENTLY the York Museums Trust has been much in the news over its rather controversial decision to employ a "writer in residence" for the city's art gallery.
I also note that nearly half of the gallery has been closed for some months because of a roof that is in danger of collapse.
Might I suggest, therefore, that the trustees change tack slightly, and more gainfully employ a "roofer in residence"?
