A SEASON of successes was celebrated at the Eggborough Bowling Club presentation dinner.

Held at the village sports and social club, Selby Ladies League president Mary Dickinson handed out the awards.

Prize-winners were: ladies singles - winner Violet Hillbeck, runner-up Paulina Gallagher.

Lades pairs - winners Margaret Loader and Anne Fielden, runners-up Violet Hillbeck and Jenny Westerman.

Men's singles - winner Keith Loader, runner-up Tom Hillbeck.

Men's pairs - winners Dennis Tredgett and Robin Scholey, runners-up Alan Smith and Brian Flint.

Mixed pairs - winners Valerie Fritsche and Alan Smith, runners-up Rita Wildon and Tom Hillbeck.

Invitation pairs - winners Susan and Peter Rogers, runners-up Anne and John Crick.

Ladies short mat competition - winners Mary Dickinson and Margaret Loader, runners-up Shirley Vonnahme and Anne Crick.

Men's short mat competition - winners Tom Hillbeck and Keith Loader, runners-up Albert Pickup and Nigel Adamson.
