A FATHER-of-two who fell and broke his leg in Turkey is trying to get in touch with the North Yorkshire Good Samaritans who helped him to safety.
Mark Johns said he would have been lost without the help of a group of people from the county who were at hand to help when he was stranded with his two children during their week away in the sun.
He was left unable to look after his children, aged 15 and nine, when an unfortunate accident left him needing hospital treatment.
Now Mark is trying to track the people down who he has said saved his holiday.
Mark said: "I unfortunately broke my leg when I fell down the stairs on the second day of my week-long holiday in Club Seray Forest, at Marmaris.
"I remember these people from North Yorkshire helped me and looked after my children while I had my leg cast.
"As I was on holiday alone with two-young children I would have been lost without the help of these kind British holiday makers who selflessly gave up their time while on holiday to help me.
"Not only did these people help me during my accident, but on the days that followed when I sat in the foyer with my leg in cast, these kind people helpfully made sure my children were not bored.
"These people befriended me all week, helped me down the stairs, sat with my by the pool and took my kids out on trips with them."
Mark said he would have been lost had it not been for the kindness of the people who were there on holiday and said two years, on he still remembers their kindness and wants to track them down and thank them for the time they spent with him and his children.
Mark, who lives in Plymouth, said: "I really hope I can trace them down and thank them properly".
"What they did for me on holiday was so nice and saved my holiday.".
"I would love to hear from the people who were there so I could thank them for being so kind".
