POCKLINGTON School duo Tarek Mursal and Charles Parkinson have joined the county set.
The talented pair have been named in the Yorkshire RFU squad in their respective age groups after trials.
Mursal, 16, was selected to play for the Yorkshire RFU Under-17s squad after trials at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, in Wakefield.
The teenager plays for the school first XV, and has also featured for the East Yorkshire U16s club squad.
That honour saw him initially selected to join the forwards squad for the U17s East Yorkshire trials which, in turn, led to the Yorkshire trials.
The first competitive fixture in the Yorkshire U17s programme is against North Wales this weekend.
Year 9 pupil Parkinson was selected to represent Yorkshire at U14 level after a successful trial.
David Byas, director of coaching and development at Pocklington School, said: "Charles is captain of the school U14 XV and a very prominent player in that team.
"Comprehensive performances at East Yorkshire level and fine performances in the final trial have resulted in Charles being selected for the season's remaining fixtures.
"Everyone at Pocklington School wishes both players every success and we will be following their progress with interest."
