I am trying to trace for Dr David Gordon Peter Start.

The last place of residence I have for him was Copmanthorpe, near York, from the early 1990s.

David is a chemist and was thought to work for an explosives company in the UK.

This is the whole sum of information I have to locate him and hope that one of your readers might recognise his name and be kind enough to pass on any information that might put us in touch once again.

I am trying to trace David for my brother Desmond (Desi) as his pals call him. The two of them worked together in South Africa, and this inquiry is an attempt to put the two old friends back in touch with each other.

My brother is presently living in South Africa, but he and his wife are planning to return to the UK in their retirement. My wife and I met David while on holiday in 1989.

We would be most grateful for any information your readers might be able to contribute to put these old pals back in touch.
