A lacklustre performance proved to be the downfall of City of York Hockey Club Ladies I as they lost 3-2 at Lancaster.

Lancaster took full advantage and scored after eight minutes, adding a second after a succession of short corners.

York had their fair share of short corners during the game, but it was the same old story as they failed to capitalise.
