All-conquering Martin Lowe extended his domination of the York Closed Table Tennis Championship with a fourth consecutive final triumph.
The Coneysthorpe player beat Richard Moss, of Sessions, in the men's singles final at York RI - the fourth successive year the pair have gone head-to-head for the main prize.
Lowe came out on top in a match of high-class table tennis, which went to a deciding set.
Moss went into a two-set lead (12-10 and 11-9), but Lowe took the next two (11-9 and 11-8).
In the deciding set, Moss recovered from 6-2 down to lead 8-7 before Lowe took the next four points to win 11-8.
Lowe had beaten fourth seed Jon Wooldridge, of Bootham, in straight sets in his semi-final, while Moss dropped a set in defeating third seed Paul Robertson, of York RI, in his semi-final.
The ladies' singles final also went to a deciding set with Jean Carter, of York RI, beating club-mate Andrea Potter. After four close sets, Carter ran away with the final set by 11-2.
Moss teamed up with Sessions team-mate Mick Wilcockson to win the men's doubles, defeating John Farmery and Graham Hatfield, of Holgate WMC, by three sets to two.
Hatfield sustained an injury in the fourth set but still took the match all the way, leading 10-9 in the deciding set before eventually losing 12-10.
Jean Carter also won the ladies doubles with York RI club-mate Chris Bartle. They trailed 10-5 in the deciding set against BT's Marian Broadbent and Andrea Potter before recovering to win 13-11.
Lowe and Potter took the mixed doubles 3-1 against Broadbent and Jon Wooldridge.
Richard Crowther, of York RI, won the veterans' singles, beating Wilcockson in straight sets.
The Coneysthorpe pairing of Charles Allenby and Ian Stansfield defeated Crowther and Wilcockson to take the veterans' doubles title.
York RI's Luke Blackburn took the juniors' singles title, beating Potter in the final.
Jamie Cameron (NYTTC), playing in his first competitive event, won the cadet's title, beating Lewis McCarthy, of York RI, in the final.
Holgate WMC's Mick Kenyon won three events - the over-55s singles, division two singles and restricted singles - after coming back from major surgery last year.
