DRIVERS are facing lengthy delays after a three-vehicle crash has shut the A1079 outside York.
The accident happened at 12.13pm outside the Ivy House Farm B&B on York Road, Kexby, when a white lorry was in collision with a green Ford Fiesta and a black Volkswagen Beatle.
All three emergency services attended the scene between the villages of Dunnington and Kexby after reports that one man was trapped in his vehicle, but it is believed that no one has suffered serious injuries.
Police closed the road in both directions outside the Gulf petrol station and diverted York bound traffic via Dalby Lane. The road remains closed while the clear-up operation takes place.
