UPDATED 6.30PM: The accident has been cleared and traffic has returned to normal.
DRIVERS are being warned about an accident on a major road in York.
There's been a crash on Fulford Road in York close to Imphal Barracks and the Aldi and Iceland supermarkets at the junction with Maple Grove.
Drivers are being asked to take alternative routes if at all possible.
