A CAR has been seen driving dangerously on the A1 in North Yorkshire, with its driver and passenger apparently from a balloon.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted that the vehicle was reported to have been swerving between lanes as it was heading nortbound out of the county, and so details were passed to colleagues of a neighbouring force.
In an unrelated incident, police and fire crews were called to a single vehicle crash on the A1 near Allerton Park at 8.52pm last night.
On arrival, the fire crew found the male driver, who wasn't trapped in the vehicle, and they remained with him until the arrival of paramedics.
