ON MY journey to Acomb on the No 1 service, we stopped to pick up some students from school in Blossom Street.
To my surprise the tickets the driver issued mostly went into the used ticket box as they made their way to their seats.
Now, I wondered what would have happened if an inspector had boarded the bus to do a check.
It may be a good idea to dispose of your receipt when leaving the bus. That is your proof, isn't it, of paying for your journey?
