POLICE say a man they wanted to speak to after a shop worker was allegedly attacked in a North Yorkhsire town has come forward.
North Yorkshire Police say the attack happened in Scarborough at about 6.25pm on Wednesday, September 7 in the One Stop convenience shop on Falsgrave Road, and involved a man allegedly assaulting a shop supervisor after a disagreement over returning food to the shop.
Officers had issued CCTV of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.
A police spokesman said: "The man who police wanted to speak to following an assault on a shop supervisor at the One Stop convenience store in Scarborough has come forward."
