UPDATED: The road has now fully reopened and traffic is returning to normal.
A MAJOR road is partially closed after a crash in East Yorkshire.
The M62 in the East Riding of Yorkshire is down to one lane with two lanes closed due to a crash on the eastbound carriage between junction 37, the A614 Howden turn off, to junction 38, the A63 to North Cave.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
