YORK Railway Institute RUFC have spread the word on rugby union with their inaugural junior fun day at New Lane.
Youngsters interested in playing rugby attended the event, with the club aiming to attract players between the ages of six and 12.
The day started with activities including rugby, darts, bulls-eye, conversions, slalom and hurdles. The children were split into teams for all the activities and the team with the most points were awarded a prize.
The day also included the junior presentation which involved everyone who played and trained throughout the year.
Anyone interested in playing junior rugby should phone Keith Carlton on 07736 216352.
