A MAJOR road in York city centre is has now reopened after a police incident.
Micklegate in York has been closed both ways for several hours this morning (February 2) after a police incident over between Skeldergate and George Hudson Street.

One eye witness reported that a lorry had become stuck trying to turn into Coney Street and the road had to be closed while it was released.
