THREE coastal franchises at a leading estate agent have been taken on by two businessmen.

The Hunters Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey businesses have been bought by Sam Lakin and Pete Croft.

Sam and Pete have acquired them from previous owners Nicola and Iain Simmonds who are now looking forward to retirement.

Pete has worked in the property industry for the last ten years, including as a lettings manager for Hunters, where he then moved up to an operations manager role for the Hunters group.

Sam has also worked in the property industry for the past decade, most recently as an operations manager for Hunters also.
