A MAN has been arrested following a possible assault in a York street.
North Yorkshire Police say they want to hear from anyone who either witnessed or was assaulted during an incident in Lawrence Street in York at the weekend.

A police spokesperson said: "At about 4pm on Sunday (October 22) it is believed several members of the public were threatened by a person in this area, possibly, one person may have also been assaulted.
"If this was you, please contact us with information.
"A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with this incident, he has been released under investigation.
"If you believe you may have been involved in this incident, please contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference 12230200886."
