EMERGENCY crews have been called to a fire at a house in North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called at 5.53pm last night (November 7) after reports of a fire in Sherburn in Elmet.

A service spokesman said: “Our Tadcaster crew attended a fire in large garden to the rear of a domestic property.

“They used a hose reel jet to put it out and gave advice to the occupant.”
