A WARNING has gone out to drivers not to go through flood water in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service has put out a warning in the wake of Storm Debi to drivers not to drive through water on flooded roads.

Group Manager Bob Hoskins said: "It's been a busy start to the day for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service with people continuing to drive into flood water.
"Signs are in place but even when the fire service are in attendance carrying out rescues, cars continue to drive into the flood water.
"The fire service do not recover your vehicle."
