HOW lovely do these local landmarks look as we head into spring?

From crocuses by St William's College by Sue Gabbatiss to Garry Hornby's shot of Clifford's Tower behind a bed of red tulips, they all signal that spring is on the way.

Thanks too for Dave Ridsdill's stunning shot of Whitby Abbey with a beautiful sunset and of Castle Howard among the snowdrops by Michelle Sorrell.
