A missing Manchester man who police believe travelled to York has been found safe and well.
North Yorkshire Police issued an appeal early today (Sunday, June 2) to find the 43-year-old, from Wythenshawe, in south Manchester, and said it was likely he travelled to York in the past days.
The force has now confirmed that he has been found.
"Earlier this morning we issued an appeal to help find a missing 43-year-old man from Manchester. We very pleased to report that he has been found safe and well. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal," a police spokesperson said.
