THE most and least expensive streets in York were revealed in a news story this week.
The report by Property Solvers lists the following locations in York as the most expensive, based on sales prices since 2019: Shipton Road, The Mount, Rawcliffe Lane, Bootham, Marygate, The Purey Cust, Clifton, St Leonard's Place, Mount Vale, and Connaught Gardens.
We've dipped into our archives and those of the excellent Explore archive of the city council to look at how two of these areas have changed over the years: Bootham and Clifton, specifically Clifton Green.
