A THIEF has tried to carry out a raid in a street in York.
North Yorkshire Police has issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following a theft in Bellerby Court in York.
They say it happened sometime between 1.45pm and 2.10pm on Thursday, June 27 outside Hungate Community Centre.

A force spokesman said: "Several locks on two electric bicycles were cut in an attempt to steal the bicycles however no cycles were taken. A Bosch operating screen from one of the cycles was stolen.
"Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV, as he may have information that will assist our investigation."
