Announced by York Racecourse and Sky Bet, the good causes include North Yorkshire organisations MySight York, The Friends of Rowntree Park, Menfulness, and more.
Each charity will be matched sweepstake-style with a horse competing in the Sky Bet Ebor, with the draw to be announced live on Thursday, August 22 before the race takes place on Saturday, August 24 at York Racecourse.
The winning horse's charity will receive a £20,000 donation.
Those in second and third place will receive £5,000 and £2,000 respectively.
The remaining 19 charities will receive £1,000 each.
