A top-rated York hotel has a new manager.
Anthony Killip has taken the role at No.1 by GuestHouse, York in Clifton.
The former Grange Hotel became No.1 by GuestHouse, York following a revamp in 2022.
Now, it is rated 5-stars on Tripadvisor, with it ranked first out of 53 York hotels. Google rates it 4.7 stars.

Anthony joins the hotel with over 25 years experience in hospitality.
Most recently he was Head of Hospitality at Hooton Pagnell Hall in South Yorkshire
and Head of Food & Beverage Operations at Phoenix Capital.
Prior to that he oversaw the opening of the restaurant and cocktail bar, Mber, in London and he led the team at The Woodford restaurant for 2 years, during which they received a series of awards and accolades.
In his role at No.1, York Killip will oversee the hotel’s 38 bedrooms, including 3 suites, Pearly Cow restaurant (which opened 18 months ago), the bar, the luxury spa and all weddings and events.
