@baetripper The Sherlock Café, in Whitby, could not feel more…Holmsey. With cozy nooks, loads of books, and a very Sherlock inspired vibe. The coffee is tasty, and you’ll find small bites, like scones and pastries. If you plan well in advance, you can take advantage of their B&B lodgings. With 2 gorgeous rooms, in a very prime Whitby location! #whitby #whitbygothweekend #visitwhitby #visityorkshire #sherlock #sherlockholmes #bookish #traveltiktok #travelbucketlist @theroyalritualmusic ♬ Sherlock Holmes - Sparks
This person posted: “An absolute gem tucked away from the hustle of the busy sea front. If you're after a quick break and want to escape into another era then you should definitely pay a visit. The interior is spectacular, like stepping into a dickensian scene or perhaps appropriately a location from Sherlock Holmes. The food is freshly made on site and the scones are delicious. Well worth a visit!”

Reasonably priced and really well cooked fried breakfast with all the trimmings (the fried bread was a particular treat!). The rest of the menu looked to have a great selection of sandwiches/paninis etc and cooked meals too. Will definitely be returning here on our next trip to Whitby.”

A regular Whitby visitor said: “Best breakfast in Whitby. We spend a lot of time in Whitby and have tried pretty much every place there is to eat and this hands down serves the best breakfasts. Super dog friendly. All the staff were absolutely lush, super friendly and welcoming. Great place and we (along with Doris who was a huge fan of the free dog treats and the sausage she punched from my breakfast) can't wait to come back.
