THERE are significant disruptions to road and rail services across North Yorkshire this morning (August 23).
A fallen tree has caused one lane to be closed on the A64 westbound from the A19 Fulford Interchange to the A1036 Tadcaster Road, according to the AA.
Northern Rail has 57 disruptions with trees down on line. Delays on the trains between Hull and Scarborough due to a fallen tree near Driffield.
National Highways said that a return to normal traffic conditions can be expected between 11am and 11.15am.
Trains are being cancelled and delayed due to an object caught on the overhead electric wires between Doncaster and York, meaning all lines are blocked between these stations.
LNER has said rail replacement buses have been requested to run between those stations, with disruption expected until 10.30am.
