Firefighters have been kept busy across North Yorkshire today by Storm Lilian.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called at 7.22am after reports of an incident in Kirk Hammerton.
A service spokesman said: "One of our officers responded to reports of a tree which had fallen onto a property.
"The occupants of the property were found to be safe and well. Advice was given by the officer."
Shortly afterwards at 7.30am Selby crews responded to reports of an electricity pole which had fallen onto the carriageway.
Crews inspected the scene and police closed the road until arrival of the electricity board to assist further.
