A child locked inside a vehicle in a village near York was rescued by firefighters.
The youngster was let out of the vehicle in Riccall, between York and Selby, at about 6.20pm yesterday (Friday, August 23).
They were left in the care of adults on the scene, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
A service spokesperson added: “Crews gained access after breaking a window with a glass punch and the child reunited with adults.”
