A MAJOR road in York has partly reopened having initially been closed to traffic this morning.
Drivers are being warned that the A64 eastbound was closed due to emergency repairs from the A1036 Tadcaster Road to the A19 Fulford Interchange.

People were initially being asked to find alternative routes until work was complete, but the road has now reopened as of 7.15am.
