FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a house fire in a York suburb.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say they were called at 6.16pm on Sunday night (September 1) after reports of a fire in Acomb.
A service spokesman said: “Acomb crews attended a house fire. No persons were inside the property at the time of the fire.
“Crews extinguished the fire using two hose reels and breathing apparatus.”
