ARSONISTS caused ‘significant damage’ to farmland in North Yorkshire.
The incident happened between midnight and 1pm on Tuesday, September 3 in Newhay Farm, Hemingbrough, close to Selby, and involved crops in fields being set alight, said North Yorkshire Police.
“This has caused a significant amount of damage and financial loss to the farm,” said a spokesperson for the force.
Anyone with any information is asked to get in touch with the police. Police are particularly appealing for information about a group of young people who were in the area at the time.
