Little Bird owner and managing director Jackie Crozier curates these events and said: "We provide opportunities not only for our customers to meet the faces behind the products, but for traders to meet the people who want to buy what they create. It’s shopping and being social, in the old-fashioned way.”

Donna Taylor who is trading at Easingwold this Saturday said: "Since starting Carlton Kitchen in 2016, things have changed immensely and we have found what we love doing most and that is being market traders.

"Every weekend we meet lots of great customers, in many lovely market towns and love the family of Little Bird that Jackie has created. Since starting the markets we have made lots of new friends with fellow traders and Little Bird staff, it's always a pleasure to be at a market even when the weather is bad."

Little Bird will be  in Wetherby Market Place on Sunday from 10am with traders showcasing handcrafted products for your home and garden, beauty, artisanal breads, chutneys and cheeses plus so much more.

Dan Leaver, owner of Dan’s Pies is a regular trader at Wetherby and is a sell out trader each month.

He said: "I started my business less than 18 months ago and wasn’t sure which direction I wanted to go down with it, so I tried different options and tested out my local weekly market and knew that was the right direction for Dan’s Pies.

"I then heard about Little Bird and after just a few months I was hooked on being an artisan market trader. It’s great getting out and about and seeing all the other traders at all the monthly markets and it just feels like a little family unit. I have picked up an amazing amount of repeat custom at all the markets and it really makes it worth trading on the cold, wet days to see all the regular faces and getting great feedback.’’
