EMERGENCY crews have been called in after a three vehicle crash in a York suburb.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say that at shortly after 5pm on Wednesday (September 4) crews from Acomb and York responded to a crash involving three vehicles.
A service spokesman said: “Everyone was out of their vehicle prior to crews arrival and police and Ambulance were also in attendance.
“Our crews created a shelter using the triple exterior ladder and salvage sheet due to adverse weather conditions to shelter the casualties while they received treatment from ambulance staff.
“Crews continued to provide scene safety before all casualties were taken to hospital via road. The incident was left in the hands of police and highways who were cleaning oil and fuel from the road.”
