There has been a burglary on a busy street in York.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information after entry was gained and items were taken from The Fisherman's Wife Fish and Chip shop in Bishopthorpe Road.
Officers said it happened between Saturday, August 24, and Monday, August 26.
"We’re particularly appealing for any information about the burglary or anyone who may have CCTV that covers the area," the force added.
