Police have arrested a man after cash was stolen from a till and staff were threatened at a York convenience store.
The incident happened at Costcutter, in Woodthorpe, on Saturday evening (September 7).
A 37-year-old York man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail pending further inquiries, North Yorkshire Police said.
Officers urge anyone with information about the incident to get in touch by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 12240163323.
“We're extremely grateful to members of the public who have supported our enquiries by providing information,” a police spokesperson said. “We also continue to appeal for anyone who was in the area, or may have captured CCTV, video doorbell or dashcam footage, to get in touch.”
