A POPULAR children’s attraction near York is gearing up for Halloween.

William’s Den, in North Cave, near York, in East Yorkshire is owned and run by Tor and Christian Carver and they are bringing back their Trick or Treat Street event this October.

After a successful debut last year, it will return bigger and better, with a brand-new adventure created for families with children aged three to 12.

Tor said: “After an amazing launch in 2023, we’re going even bigger with Halloween this year. There’s nothing like Trick or Treat Street anywhere else in the UK. It’s fun for all the family and a safe, imaginative environment for children to enjoy trick-or-treating.

“So bring your costumes, detective skills and Halloween spirit for a night of family fun, mystery, and spooky surprises that you won't want to miss. Tickets are in high demand so we recommend booking yours sooner rather than later to guarantee admission and secure the best prices.”

The event will run from Friday to Wednesday, October 25-30, from 1pm to 8pm, with early bird tickets available to book already. In a change from last year’s event, Trick or Treat Street will take place in the fields in front of William’s Den, with options to attend during the day or after dark.

The street is a one-of-a-kind, interactive Halloween experience that combines storytelling, problem-solving and the magic of trick-or-treating. Designed to be spooky not scary, families will visit eight magical locations, meeting an array of colourful characters, bagging treats along the way and helping to solve the mystery of ‘who dennit?’

As well as taking a trip down Trick or Treat Street, visitors can pick pumpkins at the Denville Pumpkin Patch and enjoy drinks, street food and music at the Village Square. There’s also an option to upgrade your ticket to include unlimited adventure play at William’s Den.

Early bird tickets are available until Sunday, October 6, priced at £16 for children over three and adults. Visitors can upgrade their tickets for £6 each to include unlimited adventure play at William’s Den.

Alongside the event, William’s Den will be open as normal for adventure play, featuring a twice-daily Monster Mash Halloween Disco. Book now at https://www.williamsden.co.uk/trick-or-treat-street
