THREE girls have been threatened by a teenage boy in a town near York, say police.

North Yorkshire Police said the incident occurred in Kirkcroft in Haxby, close to the junction with Greenshaw Drive last Friday (September 13) between 9.10pm and 9.25pm.

Appealing for witnesses and information, a spokesperson for the force said: “Three girls were threatened by a teenage boy who was riding a bicycle.

“Thankfully, they were unharmed, but were left shaken by the incident.

“We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“Officers are asking for anyone who has seen the incident or who has any information which will help the investigation to come forward.”
