A MAIN road in a York village is set to close during the day for more than a month.
Broad Highway in Wheldrake is set to close for roadworks from Monday - Sunday from 8am-5pm from Monday, September 30 to Friday, November 8.

Alternative routes will be signposted throughout the works.
One resident, who didn't want to be named, said that the closure plan is worrying local farmers and residents.
