First Bus in York has announced new services after winning a five year contract from the University of York.
Kayleigh Ingham, Commercial Director of First North & West Yorkshire, said: “From the beginning of the new academic year we have added new services to increase connectivity to key destinations.”
There are two new services: U3 operates between Barbican, Fulford Road, and Campus East Interchange, while U4 is a weekend-only service to Designer Outlet, Fulford Road and Campus East Interchange.
The previous 66 and 67 Services have been renamed U1 and U2 respectively. A UN1 service replaces to N67 ‘clubbers bus’ and will now operate in both directions from midnight until 04:22am.
