A huge tree branch crashed into a popular path in the centre of York - landing on top of a bench.
No one was hurt in the incident, despite the tree falling into the often busy Dame Judi Dench Walk, next to York Museum Gardens and the River Ouse.
Pictures of the fallen branch were posted on The Press Camera Club on Wednesday (September 18).
The tree is believed to have come down on Tuesday (September 17).

Ben Grabham, head of environmental services at City of York Council, said: “We can confirm that this was caused by storm damage and the tree was safely cleared yesterday (September 18).
“All council trees are inspected on a four yearly cycle as per our Arboricultural Policy. The survey will pick up certain risks, such as indications of disease and damaged limbs.
"In this case, the damage to the tree was caused by poor weather conditions and there was no reported evidence of structural defects.”
